Memos Philipidis

Memos Filippidis (1967, Athens) is an architect (diploma of Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens, Master in Architecture Yale University). With Μ. Nikoloutsou they established their joint architectural office. He has also been contributing articles on architecture and design for the newspaper To Vima. He is co-organizer of the architectural lectures of Megaron Plus at the Athens Megaron. He has curated the following exhibitions: Big Brother: Architecture and Surveillance (EMST, 2002), ±40: Athens Now (RIBA, 2003) and Invisible Hotel (DESTE, 2005). In 2006 he was guest curator for Cyprus at the 10th Architectural Biennale in Venice.
